When going to activate the OS, I'm getting the error code: 0x8007232B. This is happening when I'm upgrading from Windows Server 2003.

    Hi,
    After looking into this a bit more, it looks like 2008 server does not require you to enter the activation key during the installation process.  When you go to activate the os, click on change product key first and enter your MSDN MAK activation key.  That should be all you need to activate.

    Change the product key to an MAK. To do this, follow these steps:
    • Open Command Prompt as administrator.
    • At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press Enter:
        slmgr -ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
    Note : In this command, the placeholder xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx represents your MAK product key.
