You’ll need to have 64bit hardware in order to run a 64bit guest OS. When you are creating the VM guest machine you can select a 64bit guest from the list.
I agree with above. Second, you should enable hyper-threading on the server via the BIOS. Third, you should make isos of your 64bit media and then upload them up to your “iso” datastore or any datastore. Then create a new VM and select the 64-bit Guest Operating systems so the appropriate vmware tools can be installed afterwards.
Make sure you have the VT (Intel or AMD Equaivelent) chipset and turn this on in the bios or you will not be able to run them very well if at all.
what hardware are you using?
If you do not have 64 bit hardware it is not possible tu run 64 bit os.
