I recently had a Win 2k domain controller crash on our network. Because it died I was not able to dcpromo it out of it's dc role. Even though it was physically removed from the network, it is still showing up in the domain controllers container on the root dc. Is there any way to clean this up? Thanks

Read Technet article 216498. It describes how to use NTDSUtil to remove information about DC’s, from Active Directory.
