I advice you study linux first and join one comapny and we can study microsoft gradually.

You might want to specialize in some platform, but it is recommended to have some basic knowledge on other platforms as well. We also have some Windows , some Linux, and some Solaris servers, and unfortunately many of our team members are not able to deal with our unix servers.
