Windows NLB vs.Citrix Netscalers – 3rd party network load balancing
I am familiar with using Windows NLB to load balance http traffic between multiple web servers on Server 2003. My question is, how many web servers is a reasonable enough number to implement a Netscaler to load balance traffic? We are about to go from hosting 80 websites to about 130 so I'm wondering if a netscaler solution is more advantageous than NLB?

Answer Wiki:
NLB is not truly scalable compared to a dedicated load balancing solution like a Netscaler, Radware, or F5. I strongly suggest you move away from NLB to an enterprise load balancing solution.
