Windows Firewall blocks Samba requests from Mac OS X
I have a server that is utilizing Windows Firewall, and I find myself unable to make a Samba connection from a Mac running OS X Leopard. I confirmed that the server (running Windows 2003 Server with all updates) can be reached if I turn off Windows Firewall. This leaves a question of what ports are being blocked. I entered exceptions in WIndows Firewall for Ports 135, 137, 138, 139, and 445, both TCP and UDP. Still the SMB connection will not reach. What other ports could be at fault?
