My computer goes in to power saving mode after about 10 minutes of inactivity, how can I extend the time to maybe 30 minutes?

    I'm not sure I can get a Windows 98 system up and running to determine exact steps. You need to open your Control Panel, then open the Power Management function. There should be options you can select for turning off monitor and disks. Select the amounts of time you want and save the new settings. I can't recall if it takes effect immediately or after a restart. -- Tom
