 Windows 7. What are peoples initial thoughts

With the release of windows 7 there has been alot of press coverage. I am curious to hear what the community thinks of Windows 7 and any experiences you have had with it. I know MrDenny has posted a few blog entries about it. Share your thoughts and experiences. Thanks Sean

Windows 7 beta seems to work fine. It's faster than Vista, and they continued to improve the visual effects. One issue I found with all new operating systems is Server Admin pack compatibility. SP1 got it working in Vista, but they still have problems in the beta version.

Im new to Beta testing, I’ ve 7 downloaded, got a beta norton copy installed, trying to install office 2007 but it will not make it through a complete install. Still working with it though.

Windows 7 does seem faster than Vista, but I tend to think of Windows 7 as Windows Vista R2. On the surface, you would be hard pressed to tell Vista and WIndows 7 apart, aside from a few visual things. Microsoft is including some new features in WIndows 7 though. Check out my blog.
