Windows 7 and Exchange 2007 Management tools
Guys,

I am trying to install the Exchange 2007 SP2 Management tools on to Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit but it tells me that it isn't supported.

How can I get them installed?

Cheers

John.

Answer Wiki:
Have you tried the compatibility mode in Vista? Also you must enable IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility and IIS 6 Management Console before it will work

You also want to make sure that you are installing the 64 bit version on the Management Tools

I have tried the Vista mode and it tells me that I can’t as I have Windows 7 Enterprise installed.

One of the most frustrating things I found was when Exchange 2007 was released in the same time period as Vista and yet the management tools were not supported on Vista! Great timing MS! MrDenny, the management tools he speaks of are available in 32 bit, he is correct. I hope you get it working JBrines, please post your solution if you find one.
