Hi
I just configured a windows 2003 terminal server and my problem is that I can not log on using the domain. I however can log on using a local account on TS machine and under log on to I must enter the TS computer name instead of the domain.
If I log on using the domain under log on to I get the following message:
The system cannot log you on now because the domain xxxxx is not available.
I have updated the registry to tell the TS where the terminal server licence machine is located, all these licenses are from win 2000 server, does this make a difference???
Any help will be greatly appreicated
Thanks
Jack

Try turning off any internet security software, Norton will block communication from the server.

If I understand you correctly, You have a 2000 server runnign TS and TS License server. And you then setup a 2003 Server as a TS and are attempting to use the 2000 TS License server. If this is the case, you can not do it. 2000 License server can not provide licenses to a 2003 TS server. However this can be reversed and a 2003 License Server can provide TS licenses to a 2000 TS server. See the MS KB http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/techinfo/overview/quickstart.mspx
for help on setting up your 2003 TS server invironment.

This seems like a silly question, but can you overify that the domain is available at the console? This could be a simple protocol binding/DNS/routing issue. has the system been moved to a new subnet since it was built?
