Hi,
I need to know if i can have windows 2003 file server as cluster and also host Exchange 2007 CCR on the same nodes with having a FSW on another machine.
So does my windows 2003 cluster quorum, conflict with my FSW?
Can i have my file server cluster resources on my SAN, and my exchange 2007 CCR mail-store data on the local HDD of the server nodes.
Or my Cluster file server resource and exchange 2007 mail-store data on the SAN using CCR, and to have HT/CAS on two different low-end server, with AD. Hope its clear, so please guide me.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Not 100% sure exactly what you want to do but what I think you are asking is can you have the following:

2 node cluster

the cluster hosts a file server

each node hosts a CCR node with the CCR data stores on the local nodes

I don’t think this will work very well. As you are using Exchnage 2007 you could install Exchange into the cluster and protect it that way. if you want a DR capability use SCR to an Exchange machine on another site

RichS: You got me right, i need: 2 node cluster; File server hosted on cluster. Have Exchange 2007 CCR on the cluster nodes. Now my question is: Is it possible? where to have exchange 2007 CCR quorum on SAN or Local? Will there be any quorum conflicts (split-brain syndrome)? Or can i have Exchange SCC with file server clustered. Thanks?
