Does anybody know if there is a window server simulation software for hands on purpose.

No there is no simulation software per se that I know of, however, Microsoft makes its Learning site (see: http://learning.microsoft.com), as well as virtual labs http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/bb467605.aspx available for such purposes. You can also download baked virtual hard disks (VHD) for use with Windows Virtual PC and Server. Virtualization is a great way to experiement with Windows and other operating systems, servers and applications. Sybex makes a MCSA / MCSE Windows Server 2003 Network Simulator. I know on E bay you can find them cheaper but that is ok to use and you dont have to subscribe to something expensive :)
