Win XP Deny "Delete" Permission winthout deny the save
I tried to deny the users the permission to "delete" files but I'd like to allow them to save...When I remove the "delete" permission (or the "delete subfolders and files" permission) they can't delete as I wish but they also cannot save...Any ideas?

The only thing I can think of is that the program ‘deletes’ the old file prior to saving, hence requiring permission to delete. Have you given them write data/append data permissions? Maybe you have to set the delete setting on the folder and leave it unset on the file. Just guessing, however.
