Win 20003 "dcpromo"

DCPROMO, Domain controller, Active Directory, Windows Server 2003

Already run the adprep/forestprep & adprep/domainprep on my Win2K DC an successfully run but when I run dcpromo on my new Win Server 2003... The operation failed it says The forest is not prepared for installing Win Server 2003. The version of the Active Directory schema of the source forest is not compatible with the version of Active Directory of my new Win 2003 Server.

Make sure that the domain and forest are both in the correct mode. I think it's called native mode, it might be Windows 2000 mode. They changed the names from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003, and it's been a long time since I've looked at a Windows 2000 domain.

Yes my DC Win2K Server was already in a Native Mode. Is there any problem if I will run again the adprep command on my DC Win2K Server? or do I need to re-install my new Win2K3. Thanks!
