WiMAX based on 2.5Ghz


WiMax, 2.5Ghz, 700Mhz

Will WiMAx 2.5Ghz radios (802.16e Mobile) be able to penetrate foliage in most East Coast Metro Markets with any reliability and maintain a quality link in a mobile Mode? Or does industry wait until 700Mhz is released in lat 2009?

When I was working with WiMax we had very limited success with getting any sort of signal through trees or bushes of any size. We found that it worked OK for line of sight, but if there was anything in the way signal was bad or worse.
