Q:
Will I have more wealth and job growth by following Cisco or SAP?
I can't decide between a career following SAP or Cisco. I am already CCNA certified. I want to choose a field where there is growth and wealth. I am not sure where my main interest lies. Thanks for any expert advice.

To get anywhere with SAP or Cisco you have to develop your knowledge and skills to the highest levels. If you're willing to earn a CCIE (Cisco's highest level of certification) or jump through the hoops necessary to become an SAP/R3 consultant--both of which involve years of effort and considerable expense for classes and exams--your income opportunities will be more or less open-ended. Thus, you should choose whichever area interests you more. That's because the satisfaction you get from doing good work that you enjoy lasts much, much longer than the satisfaction of a big paycheck or lots of job opportunities.

HTH, and thanks for posting,
