Will there be any point in tech industry where apps won't be built anymore? Of course, IoT and AI are also useless without apps, so it seems apps are here to stay forever on the Internet? App development is getting cheaper and easier, so may be making apps will become extremely easy. But in the future, once we develop AI that can build new apps, will then app development exist?

I would assume so. Even as AI grows that itself will need to be tweaked. It will always come down to customization. I don’t believe AI will ever be smart enough to develop every app needed. Just think of the gaming industry. Is AI going to create our games of the future with out any input from us, doubtful. Ai may be able to think faster than us but I don’t believe they have the same creativity.

Good question. The reality is, we don't know what we don't know. A good analogy is the password. I've been hearing people talk for a decade or more about the death of passwords yet I'm convinced that they are so deeply-embedded into any given enterprise that they won't be going away anytime soon – at least for several decades. Are you concerned about your career prospects?

No one can say about his/her future. We can guess, but sometimes guesses will be not fully correct/ partially correct Or never correct. But in near future, it is obviously Yes. Today demands are increasing for different segments. Also technology is moving fast and we are all trying to cope up with this environment.

I believe asking questions like these helps us prepare for the future (even though we can't exactly predict).

For e.g. we can start preparing suitable education courses for current and future students, prepare policies that will help everyone when such a shift takes place (when AI and other things do bulk of the work). May be we can even start planning what kind of apps should be built, what kind of startup ecosystem we will need in future.
