Will Amazon S3 be an appropriate infrastructure for a forum-type website?

Our site has a lot of posting and viewing messages. Considering the I/O based charging by Amazon, would it make sense to host a forum on the S3?

I do not think I would host the entire site on S3 but you can use S3 for your images or other static files. I tend to use it for my websites downloads. This will be your best cost effective solution.
