will ABAP has future?

sir, i am doing my MCA final year, i have better knowledge in J2SE and i wanted to settle in SAP-ABAP. now the market is not having the jobs in SAP, shall i learn the SAP or not? please reply to me-anjumohan_mca@yahoo.co.in.

As You already may have noticed, there is no demand for beginners in ABAP. Nobody really knows, whether and when this might change. My opinion is, that there will remain a continousely decreasing demand for experienced ABAP experts for a small couple of years, but then the time of ABAP will have gone. To start with ABAP now, therefore (I feel) is too late.
