Why is there is no communication between these two computers?
hello. I installed network adapters(Realtek)on two computers but there is no communicaton between the computers. There is no light signal in both adapters on the two computers. i checked everything and it works when i pluged my laptop with both computer seperately. i configured the both adapters as auto sense mode and it doesnt work at all. please tell me the reason about this problem.

To connect to 'like' devices together you need a cross-over cable. Many network adaptors do not do the cross over automatically, the switch usually does this (if capable).
Try a cross-over, and report back here if you still have a problem.

Is this network a workgroup or domain? When you say there is no communication between the 2 computers what are you trying to do share files, ping, please more information is needed. It could possibly be something as simple as joining the 2 computers to a workgroup or domain.
