Why doesn’t Microsoft try to encapsulate all of their virtualization products into one with multiple configuration options?

Why MS don't try to encapsulate all that in one product with multiply configuration aoptions instead of having a product for a particular goal? That is a good question, for the most part, on the Server Side, you have Windows Server (where Virtualization is a Role of the OS), and to manage it Systems Center (where Virtual Machine Manger is a piece of it). That is two pieces for Server Virtualization. In those two pieces are many different technologies and techniques, but it is really two product families.
