 Why doesn’t Microsoft try to encapsulate all of their virtualization products into one with multiple configuration options?
All this products and names make it a little bit to grasp all the functionality but as to command them. Why MS don't try to encapsulate all that in one product with multiply configuration aoptions instead of having a product for a particular goal? That is a good question, for the most part, on the Server Side, you have Windows Server (where Virtualization is a Role of the OS), and to manage it Systems Center (where Virtual Machine Manger is a piece of it). That is two pieces for Server Virtualization. In those two pieces are many different technologies and techniques, but it is really two product families.
