You probably need to ask the AVG Support group that question. If it’s a paid license, the licensed Support can probably be found somewhere through that link. My guess would be that the install programming “could not delete keysoftwareavgavg2013″, but it’s only a guess. This isn’t an AVG site. — Tom
If there is any old version already installed, then it is necessary to uninstall this one completely….. If u r unable to remove old one, download AVG removal tool from the net. It can help to remove old version completely and hope u can dnld latest one and install the same. Of course I am talking about free version.
I had no problem updating WinXP SP3 to AVG Free 2013 over the previous version of AVG. No need to uninstall first. However, it’s probably a good idea to uninstall. I would disable the LAN adapter and end AVG processes before uninstalling. Different system configurations could demand uninstalling. — Tom
