In my experience they end up in my mailbox as administrator a quick test on my domain learned me that the mail was routed to all the members listed in field Administators under the security tab in my server document.... maybe someone else can provide more details ?

If you have the option for "Verify that local domain recipients exist in the Domino Directory:" enabled then you have to add postmaster to the full name of a user or create a group called postmaster and add people to the group or create a mail-in database. You will have to do one of these only if the option listed above is enabled. This option can be found in the Configuration Settings document - Router/SMTP tab - Restrictions and Control tab - SMTP Inbound Controls. I personally recommend turning this option on and creating a group and adding the mail administrators to the group. If you create a mail-in database people forget to check it and there may be something very import that needs to be addressed in there. Also you will need to create an abuse group, mail-in database if you turn on that option. If this option is disabled then the router will send the e-mails to the system administrator listed in the security tab of the server document.
