In general, if you have to ask that question, the answer is "No."

You could undertake some fairly detailed and lengthy studies of all related technologies and eventually become able to do it. That's assuming that you can get access through Apple and Facebook, and possibly any involved ISP, to any underlying data.

Otherwise, you'll need to engage a professional in some way, either by hiring or through your network of friends.

Of course, it first assumes that any "hacking" happened at all.

Why do you believe they were hacked?

How did you know that, your phone/ facebook hacked. What symptoms are there, that leads you to determine some kind of that. For safety, never answer/ reply or not even open and delete any unwanted email/ message (tagged like award, prize etc). If possible randomly change password with complex one.

What makes you think you have been hacked? If you have, it's nearly impossible without a lot of skill and resources the find the hacker.

For most people you most likely will never find out. The average user does not have the proper tools need to trace the IP and other information. Unless you are being threatened, local police may not be able to help either. It's best to contact them to find out how to proceed. Another thing are you using the same password? That is the main cause for most breaches. If they find your password by trying a bunch of different ones using a crack program, they will then try that password on all of your accounts it can find. Use long passwords with mixed case and special characters. Don't use personal info as part of your password either like names or birthdates. Don't use words found in a dictionary either. It may be hard to remember them, I know. You can get a password manager to keep track of them but I still prefer not to use them.
