who deleted the spool file
AS/400
I need to know who is deleting spool files. I have journaling running with QAUDLVL including *SPLFDTA. QAUDCTL had *AUDLVL, *OBJAUD, and *NOQTEMP. I did DSPJRN with journal code A and entry type SP but got nothing. I had deleted some spool files just a few minutes before checking the journal. Evidently I am missing a piece of the puzzle. Any help will be appreciated.

What journal did you display entries from? I'm not aware of any journal that holds entries with journal code 'A' and entry code 'SF'. Why did you try looking for that combination?

For the system audit journal, QAUDJRN, use journal code 'T' for audit entries. Entry type 'SF' is appropriate for various spooled file events.
