Hi All,

We are having 15 desktops used for around 30 users. The users only need to store thier exchnage email account in outlook and will use VPN (window s/thirdparty) clients and need internet. all are running on windows platform.

We are planning to increase the no of users and we need to  make this scenario to a client server architechture using virtualization to cut costs .

Could any one tell me which one would be the best solution? hyper V ,vmware ,virtual box or an opensource, thinclinet with terminal service etcc.......

Software/Hardware used:

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Based on what you’ve described it sounds like setting up a couple of Windows 2008 Terminal Servers should be all you need.

That depends on the thin client. You'll need to check with them on how to startup a remote desktop (RDP) session between the thin client and the server.
