		<description><![CDATA[IMO, those companies (or the hiring people) who focus on degrees and certs have little knowledge of the real work to be done.   
 
When I interview prospective employees or contractors, I am looking for skills.  I ask detailed questions about specific topics.  If the interviewee can talk intelligently about the topic, then he is hired.  

So I suggest you practice being able to discuss your knowledge and not just point to your degree.]]></description>

I also have the same problem, in my country the first step to getting a good job in a Degree, but I have a Advance diploma in IT, I am now following the Cisco Path, but I am also worried if I should go do a degree. But for me I think I will just follow the Cisco path and become an expert.]]></description>
