Q:
Which are the best DNS companies out there?
There are so many DNS companies out there, what criteria should a company use to choose between them? There are many types of records that a company might want to set up from, i.e., A- records for a domain name or various TXT records for subdomains. Plus, there are so many variations in price amongst competitors, is there a global leader? Who has the best security? Is there a review of providers or a resource to find this info?

Hello,

Godaddy appears to be a good, reliable provider. There are some major competitors, but most don't vary from the standard deviation.

What will be becoming a feature to look for is not yet available. That is, DNSSec, which protects a vulnerability found in the DNS protocol a while back.

My recommendation, go with those providers who look professional. Support is also a plus.
