 when powered up no boot squence is performed
using windows xp ver 2 when powering up it starts to check for boot squence and then flashes a yellow light four times and then a pause it tries agian for boot and nothing so the flashing light agian. fans have some on in the meantime.

Could be a motherboard issue. Check your RAM DIMMs and see if you can enter the BIOS setup screen. thanks i have tried that and cannot get any monitor keyboard or mouse to load Debbie

Troubleshooting you can try…

If you have a floppy drive, make sure that there are no floppy disks inserted.
Disconnect all USB devices even keyboard/mouse (add the keyboard back later)
Pull all add-in cards other than video.
Disconnect ALL drives.

See if you can POST to the initial banner

If not, a POST diagnostic card is about the only way to see what error is occuring.

You can also look at the manufacturer’s site to see what error the blink code returns.
