 When i use the command WRKMEDBRM VOL(IC1345)
When i use the command WRKMEDBRM VOL(IC1345), I unable to view the media details i'm getting blank. Please help me. We are using V5R3

Hi, The reason for getting nothing to see is because this volume(IC1345) is not in the media library, it might have been unloaded after a backup and move to another location(vault, external, etc.). If you just type in WRKMEDBRM with the respective MEDCLS you will be able to see all the volumes of that particular media class, which are present in the library. Regards, Roy

If you need to add your missing volume, just select option 1 – ADD from the aforementioned wrkmedbrm screen. From there you can enter the creation date, expiration date, etc.
