When adding attachments in Outlook, it converts the attachment to a Winzip not a regular attachment.
How do I stop converting the attachment as a Winzip attachment. When I send the e-mail to another client they can't open it, because they don't have winzip. How do I send it as a regular email attachment.

Thx

Answer Wiki:
You might have a compression program installed or your computer is looking at the file header and not the extension, so it is reading the file wrong. Check IE settings and see if it is opening the files based on their header. Go to Tools-> Internet Options-> Security tab-> Trusted Sites.

OL doesn’t have this feature itself. Probably, u have any zip utility / 3rd party zip tool that makes this probs. Might be some kind of add-in been installed in OL without ur knowledge / notification. If the probs persists, ask to client dnld peazip (totally free) and open ur messages with this utility.
