What’s the best way to backup files online?
Hi. I'm frequently between my several computers between my home and office. I'm looking for away to remotely store my files on the internet so I have them regardless of my location. I have a large amount of server space for one of the domain names that I own, so I'm looking to store files there. My only question is this: Does anyone know of a kind of application that I can install on my server that use to help manage and protect my files? I'm looking for something like Dell Datasafe, Yahoo Briefcase, Carbonite.com where I can login and manage files from my webhost? I'd rather do this using my already existing web space because I'm already paying for with and hosting my email on it. I'd like to keep everything at one place. Thanks in advance for any help.

Answer Wiki:
I am finding that Backup4All is a good third party backup manager. I was backing up to my website. Recently I set up a remotely cohosted server and use backup4all between my production server and the offsite server.

You can also use the open-source product rsync, if you want to set up a facility that can backup automatically without requiring passwords or interactive entry.
