Exchange 2010 is tightly integrated with Active Directory Rights Management Server (RMS). In Exchange 2007 we only supported Prelicensing for offline access and improved performance with RMS protected messages. In Exchange 2010 we invested in the following additional features: automatic encryption of messages via Transport Protection Rules and Outlook Protection Rules, Journal Report Decryption that allows you to search through RMS messages in your journal mailbox, Transport Decryption that provides Transport Agents such as FSE access to RMS messages and Protected Voice Mail.
