What  to test  in particular when source DB is a Oracle and target db is SQL Db?

I have worked on when both the target DB  and Source Db was SQL Server.How is it different when Source Db is ORacle and Target DB is SQL Server.

Not much is different. You just tell the SQL Server that the source is Oracle. You'll need to have a decent amount of rights on the Oracle database, I believe that the SQL Server will add some triggers to the Oracle tables so that it can keep track of what needs to be replicated. Like every major system change this should be tried in a QA/Test environment first.
