What should our next contest be on ITKnowledgeExchange.com?
We want to kick off the new year with an exciting contest and want your input. We have done a variety of contests from the top 3 Knowledge Point earners winning prizes like an XBOX 360. Also we have had Amazon.com gift cards for the top 10 point earners who achieve over 500 Knowledge Points. I want you suggestions on what type of contest we should have so put your ideas below. Thanks and Happy New Year Sean P.S. Dont forget to spread the word about ITKnowledgeExchange.com in any blogs or forums you visit.

Answer Wiki:
I believe the contest should be quantitative and measurable in regards to sales? For instance as an expert replies to a question, and it leads directly to a Solution - and preferrably a SALE. That will show real value, and results too! Bob VL but how to measure it - objectively (not subjectively)? Jaideep Sales is not always applicable, methinks. AndreaF

I think an interesting contest could be one where the poster who posts the question which generates the most “useful” comments or replies gets rewarded.

Basically allowing the user base to decide which questions are the best based on the number of comments which go with the question.

How about selecting a number of “best” answers each week, and reward the member (or members) with more best answers during the month ?

The problem is how to select those best answers… An answer may seem to be the best, but if it does not help the asker, it’s not good. So, one of the judges should be the member who asked the question.

How about if the recepient of an answer nominates the provider of the answer based on the value of the answer. Then the ITKE judges can select a winner from the nominees. Could be done once a month or so.
