 What should I do when I meet the message "Backed up volume disk quota" while Disaster recovery Backup takes place?
Disaster Recovery, Backup & recovery, Backup, BrightStor ARCserve Backup
I have backed up the system with "BrightStor ARCserve Backup r 11.1", and it took more time than I estimated.
then I checked the log of Backup, and I found the message "Backed up volume disk quota."

I think this is the reason it took a lot of time.

Then I wanna know if there is the way that solution of this quota backup is getting more fast.
or there is nothing I can do??


I have searched on the web about this issue, but I couldn't find any helps.


Please someone tell me if there is fast way or work-around, or good reference page on the web site.

Do you have quotas enabled on this server? What is the OS of this machine? Are you backing up from another server or the one with BrightStor 11 on it?

What service pack revision are you at I believe they addressed concerns with this in SP2.

No, I don’t.

It’s Windows 2000.

Yes, there is other several servers. I think there is 7 or 8 Servers.

I’m taking care of customer’s system, and I’m responsible for how long does backup take.
and for lack of my knowledge, I couldn’t understand this Log “Backed up volume disk quota.”
