What should I do if I have my CCNA, MCSE and RHCE but no job?
I have my CCNA and MCSE networking certifications. Now I am pursuing an RHCE, but I have no job. What should I do now? If I am CCNA, MCSE and RHCE certified, what else would help me get my foot in the door?

Answer Wiki:
With your certifications, employers would expect you to have at the very least 2-4 years of experience for any job that's worth while. To get your foot in the door, look for lower level technical support or helpdesk positions. ------------- earlier certificates had higher value as the volume of cert holders were less, now there is high no., of people having certificates (and some get it without even getting into it) so employer would definitely expect knowledge of the candidate during interactions.

I agree with Jaideep’s answer and would recommend that you look for any and all opportunities to gain some experience (volunteer and/or temp work) to help augment your credentials. The issue is one of so-called “paper certification” where candidates rack up certs without on-the-job experience to back them up. Without that experience, entry-level help or service desk jobs are the most you can search for, and hope to obtain.

Good luck with your career planning and continuing cert/development plans.
