If you live outside the United States, by submitting your email address you consent to having your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.
It is also where views are stored for faster opening next time you go into a database. This controls the users HOME Page and can be used to create personal homepages as well.
About database below
Bookmarks allow you to create links to information or the places that are important to you. You can create a bookmark, just like you would in a browser, but the bookmark can point to both Notes and Internet elements, including databases, views, documents, Web pages, and news groups. Creating a bookmark is as easy as dragging and dropping a doclink, for example, over to the Bookmark Bar.
The Bookmarks database (bookmark.nsf) contains all your bookmarks. This database stores bookmarks regardless of the product you’re using when you create them: Notes, Domino Designer, or Domino Administrator.
For complete information on bookmarks, read “Bookmarks: creating links to anything” in Notes 6 Help.
