Lately , i stumbled upon a provider called 8kmiles.com , they offer on demand software , hardware and tools from amazon cloud. They have abstracted amazon aws complexities and made the environment micu more usable. Please check whether it is usefull for you. I feel in future if this website kicks up , lots of development is going to happen over cloud. if your are specific about your software development stack like ROR visit heroku.
