what is the easiest way to find which all objects were not saved from a perticular library during the backup.
Hi, I am currently working with a system which do not have BRMS in it. The backup job is scheduled through the job scheduler. I am checking the objects that were not saved during backup from the spoolfile created after the backup. But, since it is very long, I need to keep focus on the severity of message generated by it. I want to know if any other possible method is there which will generate the appropriate result.

Since you're scanning through the joblog of the save, the amount of pages will not matter if you use F16 on Find parm of the spool report.
Just enter the characters you're looking for. In your case, enter the name of the particular library then press F16. This will bring you to that library in the report. Then enter "not saved" and press F16 again to see the objects not saved for that library (if any).
If you know CL, then just MONMSG for the CPF error and have it sent to your MSGQ, email, etc.

By using the MONMSG for the CF error for the objet not saved.It gives the out put for example ” 1678 objects saved from XYZ123. 12 not saved. ” But I wanted to know which 12 objects were not saved from the library XYZ123. Is there any method which will easily give the result.
