What is the best solution (DVR, NVR or SAN) for video storage with 300 terabyte per day for 90 days storage?

I am asking about a video surveillance storage solution as we have to store 100 terabytes/day of live video stream that is coming from 900 PTZ cameras. We also have to keep the recordings in storage for 90 days before archiving.

That’s a massive amount of data. You probably need multiple servers to be able to write the data at once, so you’ll probably want some massive NAS units. NetApp, and EMC both make a nice NAS which can scale to the size you are talking about.
