What is the best application for backing up multiple servers on my network with close to 15 tb of data on a Windows 2008 Server? We will be backing up about 20 boxes.
We use Symantec BackupExec. It will get a bit pricey for you, as it is licensed by server, but it seems to work nicely for us. There are some open source options (Backula, etc) as well as the stock MS Backup that may also accomplish what you want without the associated costs.

If you live outside the United States, by submitting your email address you consent to having your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.
Also as for price – please compare the price of a good backup solution to how much it will ocst the company or you for that matter if all the data is lost.
Try http://www.emc.com/avamar.
You have to take into consideration what you are backing up and what Agents you might need to do this….
ie if you have a domino server you will need an open file agent for Domino. also agents for SQL etc
but Backup Exec is good and the Netbackup version is very good as it will dedupe the data being backup so the same data will take up less space.
