what is syntax to convert minutes to days in an as/400 query?

Hi, here u haven’t mentioned weather the minutes field is character or numeric. Most of the fileds in prodcution data are character. If it is character you can do that only in the program.

    I wonder where Flame gets the idea that "most of the fields in production data are character". All the data bases I use tend to use character for character type data and numeric for, well, numeric data. Anyway the conversion from minutes to days is 1 day = 1440 minutes so to convert minutes to days use minutes / 1440 = days. Simple maths really there being 24 hours in a day and 60 minutes in an hour.
