What happens if you install the right type of memory, but the wrong speed IE?

What happens if you install the right type of memory, but the wrong speed Internet Exlporer? For example, 3.33 MHZ instead of 1.33 MHZ.

What damage can this do??

It depends on the brand of memory. With the better RAM the faster RAM will slow down and run at the slower speed. With lower quality RAM the machine may not power up.

It is recommended that you purchase RAM of all the same speed.
