Lotus Notes Meeting
I'm running IBM Lotus Notes 8.5 Release 8.5.2FP1 Revision 20101215.1023-FP1 and when generating calendar entries, the "Notify Me" is checked, and in File->Preferences->Calendar and To Do->Alarms has all boxes checked, yet I'm not being notified of any of my meetings. I used to use lotus 8.0.0 and was recently upgraded. Is there some other setting I need?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Alarm will not work if $Alarm folder has conslict or corrupted. Delete the $Alarm folder from the designer and then replace the template of the mail file.

Your Alarm will work after that.

Are you using a local replica? if so, remove that one and create a new replica. That should do the trick

Check the users / your location document - I am guessing that the location document might be pointing to the wrong mail file. The other thing would be to check that the owner of the mail file is correct.

1.Check the user calendar preference: More > Preference > Calendar & To Do > Alarm settings .
    2.$EnableAlarms=1 in Notes.ini
3.Location document should point to correct homemail server and mail file path.
