 What desktop virtualization options do I have?
This Q will probably require a HUGE answer, but what desktop virtualization options do I have, and why would I want to virtualize desktops (drivers)? This question is from the Microsoft Virtualization Live Chat which took place on August 27th.

Yeah, it would take 15 minutes to type, so to start I recommend going to <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/virtualization/products/desktop/default.mspx">http://www.microsoft.com/virtualization/products/desktop/default.mspx</a> now reasons are flexibility, control and cost. Virtualize what you need, run app-v for specific applications, and VDI for certain peices. On the desktop side, we provide a wide portfolio of products from Terminal Services, to VDI, to Application Virtualization, to Folder Redirection.
