What college degree would compliment a CCNA/CCNP certification?
I am currently finishing up my associates degree and afterwards I plan on moving on to get my bachelors degree. At the same time, I am currently studying for my CCNA. What is a bachelor's degree that would compliment other network oriented certifications? I would hate to get a degree which does little to help in my chosen line of work.

Answer Wiki:
Anything business related. We, as technical people, don't speak the language(s) of other folks in an office. It's not enough to know bits/bytes/CAT5e/switches/protocols, etc. Those terms create glassy-eyed listeners when you talk to them about how you can help them get the product or service delivered faster or better. Being able to talk return on investment, cost of capital, depreciation, etc will get you much respect and you will be able to better accomplish the tasks set before you in your role as an IT professional. ----------------------------------------- A Bachelors or Masters is a great compliment for any professional. The degree indicates that you can learn, have great study habits and are up on the theory and concepts of the technology. The certs really cement that you can actually DO the job..

I had a feeling this was the case. The only degree programs I had seen until recently dealt with programming and engineering.

Then I found out that a college near by is offering a Telecommunications Engineering degree which has a Data track. Would this not be a fairly nice supplement to Network Certs?
