I'm looking to move off of Google App Engine so would what be the best option for me. I have a bit of code that I would like to keep so I'm thinking of going to Amazon Web Services but I need to make sure I'm making the right choice. I need the type of service GAE provided (querying, user authentication, scaling) so what are my options here?

If you’re looking for the best cloud provider alternative for Google App Engine customers, you have several options. Some of the most popular choices include Azure, which allows you to run Microsoft Enterprise Applications, and AppFrog, because of its easy management and straightforward services. When making your choice for cloud providers, you’ll need to take into consideration several factors. Consider the amount of data you need to have hosted, whether or not your data is dynamic, whether you need added security and access requirements and how often you will be updating, adding or deleting your files.
