Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

What release are you on?
Here is a link to an APAR if you are on V5R4 or previous.

What related messages appear before CPF9076? When you took the "Recovery" actions given in the CPF9076 message, what was the result? Tom

Hi Tom I don't have alot to go on with this one. There are a half dozen completion messages (CPC8A11) after successful CPYDOC commands. Then the CPF9076 Internal system error processing documents or folders. (An internal system error occurred with an internal dump id 9 and internal invocation ID 0.) Followed by CPF9999 Function check . CPF9076 unmonitored by QODCPYD at statement *, instruction X'1629'. again CPF9076 Internal system error processing documents or folders. (An internal system error occurred with an internal dump id 34 and internal invocation ID 0.) Followed by the same function check as before. When this occurs rerunning the same procedure goes through fine with no errors??

We are V5R4. Thank you but the link you gave me did not work. The IBM site says Your request cannot be displayed.

CharlieBrowne's link works fine for me. Maybe clicking on this link -- APAR#: SE27475 -- will give success. I'm not sure it will help, though. First, there really shouldn't be any need to run CPYDOC commands at V5R4. Those should have been eliminated a decade or so ago. IBM gave a lot of advance warning before then that full support was being withdrawn and that it was to be replaced by other file systems and different methods. The CPY command might be a better choice, for example. Certainly a file system other than /QDLS is preferable. Also, if there is any network connection involved, there is no guarantee that it will work at all. A client PC might simply be incapable of running the required old networking protocols for /QDLS. Finally, have you done the Recovery actions listed in message CPF9076 yet? The ANZPRB action might not help if the system has no Support contract. However, the suggested RCLDLO and DLTDLO/RSTDLO actions might make a difference. Tom
